"Make voyages! - Attempt them! - there's nothing else..."
Tennessee Williams
In my travels - for both professional or personal reasons - I have met tourists and travelers alike. I find that tourists are content sightseeing and collecting souvenirs; travelers, on the other hand, want to pursue a passion, follow a dream, bring enriching experiences back home, rather than just photos of far away places. Travelers will not be rushed from one place to another in large and impersonal tour groups; they would rather explore a destination fully, with time, and - most importantly - in the company of like-minded fellows with whom they can share the joy of new discoveries.
Golden Bee Tours are designed for these travelers, people who want to follow their passions and learn something new in the intimate and relaxed atmosphere of a small group. Being small allows us to choose quality over quantity, and gives us access to those exclusive places not open to large crowds, usually the nicest.
What sets us apart is the fact that we know each one of our destinations well, and we speak their language. In each of these places we have friends who allow us insider-access privileges usually reserved for residents. This highly personal approach results in elegant escapes from life's routines, in learning experiences quite different from what is offered in conventional tours.
I find that discerning travelers appreciate that difference. And I hope to see you in one of our groups soon.
