Price includes:
- Transfer from Marseille Airport or TGV station to hotel in Aix
- Eight nights/daily breakfast in four-star deluxe Relais & Chateau hotel
- Welcome champagne reception at hotel
- Two painting classes with Provencal painter (studio and outdoors); painting materials and travel container included
- One cooking class and al fresco lunch in 17th-century chateau of a French chef; ingredients provided
- Private chauffeured mini van during scheduled visits and activities
- Two lunches, three dinners, wine and beverages included
- Admission to exhibitions and museums in the program
- One full-day visit to St. Remy de Provence

Not included on either tour price:
- Airfare; participants are responsible for plane reservations to and from Marseille
- Extra hotel expenses such as laundry, telephone, fax & internet charges, spa/room services, bar or optional services
- Beverages/alcoholic drinks other than in meals included in the program
- Private chauffeured mini van, meals or tour director/local guides during free time or on any deviation of program
- Discretionary purchases
- Features or benefits beyond those specified in the 'Price Includes' section above
Cancellation policy
Cancellations made prior to 30 days of departure are subject to a $500 fee per person; cancellation requests must be made in writing. No refunds given for cancellations made within 30 days of tour date.
Travel insurance
We recommend that you purchase individual trip, air, health, accident, baggage and cancellation insurance from your insurance company, to prevent hardship and to recover charges in the event of unexpected cancellation. This coverage is also available through your airline or travel agent, and is based on the total cost of your trip and on your age.
Dietary restrictions
Due to the nature of our tour, and the fact that it includes regional food and meals at local restaurants, we are not able to accommodate restricted diets such as salt-free or kosher, nor are we able to accommodate the dietary needs of people with food allergies.
Vegetarian meals are available most of the time. For obvious reasons we cannot provide American food on this tour.
Smoking policy
To ensure the safety and comfort of all our tour members, smoking is not permitted during group activities or inside the homes and places we visit.
Customized Tours
We design customized tours to Provence for individuals or groups of up to six people. We benefit from our extensive knowledge and the support of our associates in the area to create schedules that will please the most discerning travelers.
Fees for customized tours:
Program for solo traveler: flat fee of $ 2,750;
Program for 2 people: fee of $ 3,100;
Program for groups of up to six people: fee of $ 4,500
Price includes:
* one customized itinerary from 3 days to 2 weeks stay
* list of what to see, where to go, shopping addresses and restaurants, premier vineyards and cultural/ artistic attractions during client's visit
* reservations of hotel/transportation/rental car, if needed; payment for these and all other services is the sole responsibility of client.
