"It's Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air."
W.T.Ellis

No city in the world celebrates Christmas like New York; no other place puts more color and sheer energy into the Christmas Season.
This is the time of year when Manhattan streets are lit up with stunning decorations, when the sounds of Christmas carols and the smell of roasted chestnuts fill the air, shops unveil their most creative windows, and people come from every corner of the world to enjoy the festive atmosphere that envelops the city during the holidays.
Our Christmas Season starts in early December, with a tree-lighting cerimony at Rockefeller Center, a ritual now in its 77th year. Another important religious holiday - Hanukkah, the eight-day Jewish festival of light - is also celebrated in December, which adds to the festive spirit in New York City during the month. In December, from the heart of Midtown to the boutiques of Soho, from the Empire State Building to the farthest residential neighborhoods upwards of 125th Street, there is a lot to see, to do and to buy in New York City.
Proud of the beauty and energy of our city, Golden Bee Tours offers Christmas in New York annually, to a group limited to eight adults. In this tour program we have included the finest Christmas decorations, shows and musicals, Christmas markets and fairs, and the restaurants locals flock to during 'the season'. For your Christmas shopping we have selected both well-know stores and addresses only known to locals. And as this tour is always in the beginning of the month, you will be back home in time to celebrate Christmas with your family.
This group will stay in a five-star boutique hotel in the Upper East Side, the toniest part of town. A tour director and a chauffeured mini van will be available for all scheduled activities in the program; you will also have free time to explore NYC on your own.
New York City is our city. We invite you to visit it during its most beautiful time, the holiday season. Nowhere else you will see Christmas celebrations quite like ours.
