"Make voyages! - Attempt them! - there's nothing else..."
Tennessee Williams
On the many roads I have traveled, as a journalist or for personal reasons, I have met tourists and travelers alike. I think they are quite different: tourists merely want to get in and get out quickly with as many cheap souvenirs as possible; travelers, on the other side, want to dedicate enough time to move along the locals and get to know their culture, and will not be rushed from one place to another in big and impersonal groups. The difference between them is the instant gratification of a superficial adventure and experiences that will last long after one returns home.
Golden Bee Tours are designed for the latter. Each one of my itineraries is planned around what is most representative in each destination, places I know quite well and where friends welcome my groups. I don't compromise on quality and comfort, and from the hotels we stay to the restaurants we eat at, each stop on the itinerary reflects that choice. My groups are small, which gives them access to places not open to large crowds and reduces the impact of tourism on the environment. Besides, there is nothing like the spirit of camaraderie that develops in a small group of like-minded people.
I hope you will join me for one of these elegant experiences. I can assure you it will be a travel experience like no other.
Sincerely,
Beatriz Guimarães Ball
